Privacy Lock (free version) provides a levelof protection not available in other "lock screen" applications.Using different key sequences executes different events. Thefollowing actions may be performed based on your selectedsequences:Free version -* Unlock device - Standard style unlock and it allows access toyour device.* Send emergency SMS - Attempts to send a predefined SMS message toa number of your choice.Paid version -* Clear call log - Clears the call log.* Clear SMS messages - Removes all the SMS messages from yourdevice (doesn't work with Hangouts).* Clear media - Deletes all your images and video files.* Wipe device - The most destructive option and considered alast-resort option. This performs a device wipe.Lastly, there is a fail-safe option if you forget your unlockcode. Press the "9" button 15 times and then click unlock; Thiswill display a button to generate a new code and email it to yourselected email address. I cannot stress enough that one should setan email address and test it before setting your initial unlocksequence; This is really the only way to gain access to your deviceshould you forget your unlock sequence. Offering some other way todisable the lock would significantly reduce the effectiveness ofthis application. All that being said, here are your first stepsafter installing the application:1. Unlock the device - The first time the application runs,there is no sequence and you may unlock it by simply clicking theunlock button.2. Open the PrivacyLock configuration application.3. Select the "Send New Code" option.4. Enter the email address that you would want your new generatedsequence mailed to.5. Click the "Send Test Email" button.6. Verify that you got the test email.7. Set a sequence.8. Click the "Save" button.9. Now select the "Unlock Device" option to enter a device unlocksequence.10. Click the "Save" button to set your unlock sequence.11. Click the "Quit" button if you are done entering sequences.This application has been created to provide the privacy thatanyone would reasonably expect. Keep your private content privatefor less than the cost of a single coffee!If you set Privacy Lock as a default app, you may reset it backto your launcher by accessing: Settings -> Application Manager-> (Option menu) Reset Default Apps -> Select Privacy Lock-> ClearOn some devices, the sequence is: Settings -> Applications ->Default Applications -> Clear
